Supplements are NOT designed to replace food. To take a supplement to replace the power of food is not only dangerous, but will lead to more and more health issues. In my experience, there is no food even if it has lost it nutrient value by depleted soil, is better as a supplement. There are so many vitamins, co-factors, minerals, health bacteria, and undiscovered synergistic effects that cannot be replicated by a supplement. I am big on food over supplementation.


This doesn’t mean there isn’t a place for supplementation. I use supplements to fill in the gaps of nutritional deficiencies that have been created over the years and help the body adapt to each of the 4 seasons. When you have a weak and struggling body, having access to supplements that are broken down into easy to process forms is very helpful until we can retrain the body to use food to do this.

  • The quality, source, and ingredients matter.

  • More ingredients on the label doesn't mean it is better (less is usually better).

  • We require different amounts of nutrients (minerals, vitamins, proteins, fats, and carbs) in each season to help our body's maximize function, speed up healing, and adapt to the changes and so should your supplements.
